Client Communication

Datavations’ communication strategy given our virtual work environment will be to hold a series of regularly scheduled conference calls coupled with PlaceWare presentations. These methods coupled with an e-mail distribution, serve as an effective means to share ideas to and from the Client.

Conference call meetings – We recommend scheduling meetings at least weekly to discuss ongoing development work. Our past experience tells us that projects of any size require constant interaction between the development team and the client team. These ongoing, planned meetings help to validate the development in smaller “bites” to ensure the application is what you are looking for.

PlaceWare Web Conferencing - Enables our development team using just a web browser and a phone to conduct live software demonstrations or review system documentation on-line. We can share live real-time data with members of your team anywhere in the world in a fraction of the time that it would take to hold a physical meeting with real-time visuals, audio and interactivity in a completely secure environment. PlaceWare Web Conferencing can reduce our meetings & travel costs, accelerate response times while delivering measurable results almost immediately. These will typically be used during the weekly conference calls.

E-Mail Distribution – Enables us to distribute documents quickly and conveniently. They allow our teams to share ideas on a given topic and facilitate scheduling meetings. E-mail distribution, used in conjunction with the other mechanisms, serves as an efficient mode of communication.

Regular meetings during all phases of the project are key to the project’s success. It will be important that we set-up and adhere to a series of regularly scheduled phone conferences to discuss open issues and review status reports.
